Duke AVS 2015 is the official app for the 19th Advanced Vitreous Surgery Course, to be held at Duke University on April 24-25, 2015. The longest running vitreoretinal surgical course in the world, the AVS will feature advanced surgical video talks and interactive panels, as well as practical, hands-on sessions on vitreoretinal techniques. This hybrid course will augment a fully-trained surgeon’s surgical approach, transfer complex surgical skills, and expose surgeons to a range of instrumentation to improve their selection for the task at hand. An exciting component of this years program is the attention given to surgical vitreoretinal fellows, with renowned local and international speakers giving practical insights into advanced vitreoretinal concepts and techniques.
